Jura ENA8 Super Automatic Coffee and Espresso Machine - Nordic White
You should consider the ENA8 model if you are looking for a premium, Compact coffee machine with a full menu (15 drinks) of specialty coffee drinks. The ENA8 has a smaller footprint than the full-size models, which makes it perfect for homes with limited countertop space. Also, the ENA8 gets a lot of the technology, such as the grinder from the E8 and S8 models, which means you have many of the features of the more expensive models packed into this model. You also get a nice size screen that displays all the drink options and cleaning/maintenance instructions.
Being a compact model means the ENA8 gets a smaller water container and drip tray. That means you would have to fill up the water tank and empty the drip tray every 4 - 5 drinks.
- The grinder setting (7-option) allows you to choose how fine the coffee beans to be ground. When the beans are ground correctly, the coffee or espresso will flow evenly into the cup with a good crema.
- The ENA8 also gets the Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.®) which optimizes the aroma of a short ristretto or espresso.
Your Drink, Your Way
You can customize your drink by adjusting:
- Coffee Strength: You can choose from 10 levels (6 - 10 grams dose of coffee)
- Water Amount: 0.5 – 8.0 oz (Espresso 0.5 – 2.5 oz).
- Milk Amount: 3 – 120 seconds
- Milk Foam: 3 – 120 seconds
- Latte Macchiato Interval: 0 – 60 seconds
- Water/Brew Temperature: You can set your ideal brew temperature from Low, Normal, and High
Maintenance
As a super-automatic coffee machine, the Jura ENA8 rinses itself every time you turn the machine on and off. If you use the machine for a milk-based drink, you will need to rinse the milk pipe system at the end of the day. It's effortless and quick. All you do is insert a little cleaning agent with some tap water and follow the displayed prompts. The Jura ENA8 is equipped with a Claris Water filter. If you use the filter, no descaling would be required; otherwise, the machine will prompt you every few months to descale. You also need to clean or degrease the machine 1-3 times a year with the cleaning tablets supplied. All the maintenance procedures are displayed on the screen and take only a few minutes.

Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P)
The variable brewing unit has a capacity of 6 to 10 grams and ensures the ideal brewing conditions at all times. The Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.®) developed by JURA optimises the extraction time. To make a ristretto or espresso, it forces the hot water through the ground coffee at short intervals. This process allows the flavours of the coffee to fully develop.
Multi-level AromaG3 Grinder
The multi-level AromaG3 grinder ensures that the coffee is optimally ground. By perfecting the cutting angle inside the grinding cone, the JURA engineers have managed to increase efficiency significantly. As a result, the perfect aroma can now be achieved in all its natural fullness in half the grinding time. So now coffee lovers can enjoy pure and perfect coffee indulgence with less preparation time.
Intelligent Water System
Use Jura Water Filters and you never have to descale the unit. RFID technology detects whether the new CLEARYL Smart mini (1,000 oz) or CLEARYL Smart (2,000 oz) is being used and adapts the settings automatically
Ground Coffee Chute
In addition to the bean container, Jura coffee machines also have a chute for pre-ground coffee. To make drinks using pre-ground coffee, add a portion of ground coffee to the ground coffee chute. This allows you to make decaffeinated coffee even if the bean container is already filled with regular coffee beans.

Dishwasher Friendly
Easy cleaning in the dishwasher. The ComfortClean system makes hygiene very easy. Many of the coffee machine parts, such as For example, the water container and the waste container can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. This contributes significantly to the proper maintenance of the appliance.

Ristretto
Ristretto: Single/Double. A concentrated, intense espresso. The same amount of ground coffee as espresso is prepared but with very half the water. That translates into a more robust taste, a little bit more sweet and syrup-like flavour. Ristretto is usually served with a glass of water. Ristretto is estimated to have less of a kick than espresso because less water would run through the beans.
Espresso
Espresso: High-pressure and boiling water is forced through finely ground dry coffee for about 30 seconds to make espresso, creating a distinctive intense flavour and thick cream. Use espresso-roasted coffee beans for preparing espresso.

Long Coffee
Espresso Doppio is a double shot of espresso uses 14g of coffee and produces around 60ml of espresso (about 2 liquid ounces).
Cappuccino
Cappuccino: usually served in a 6oz cup, the Cappuccino is made with three equal portions of espresso, steamed milk and foam. It is important to mention that Cappuccino contains equal amounts of milk and froth, contributing to a stronger coffee flavour.
Latte Macchiato
Latte macchiato: Latte Macchiato is a milk-based espresso drink that emphasizes the milk than the espresso. Its served in a tall glass and has distinctive layers between the foam, espresso and milk with the foam on top, espresso below the foam and milk at the bottom. It is quite an appealing drink.
Caffe Latte
Macchiato is prepared by first pulling a shot of espresso. Then about 1-2 teaspoons of steamed milk and a bit of foam are poured on top.
Flat White
Flat White is an espresso-based drink that contains steamed milk. If you want a coffee that allows you to taste the espresso strongly but with the creamy mouthfeel of steamed milk, it’s a great choice.
